Notte Espresso Roast

Rs. 750.00
Light Dark

A dark, round espresso roast that behaves itself. It pulls the same way every morning, takes milk without disappearing, and does not need a micro-scale to get right.

Tasting Notes: Cacao, Almonds, Caramel.

Origin & Producer: Washed Arabica grown by Avinash at Bolamudi Estate in Billigeri Hills and CxR cultivated by Moideen at Silent Valley Estate in Mannarkad (1000–1200 MASL).

Roast Profile: Dark — stands up cleanly to milk in espresso, Moka pot, and South Indian filter extractions.

Bangalore Roastery: Roasted small-batch on Mondays in Bangalore and rested before Tuesday express dispatch.

Estate Details & Processing
Grown in high-elevation biodiversity in the Western Ghats under natural shade canopy. Hand-picked, floated, rested in climate-controlled parchment bins, and roasted on Mondays in Bangalore.
Brewing Protocol

Filter / V60: 15g coffee to 250ml water at 93°C, 2:30 total brew time.

Every blend evolves

Coffees that grow with you

The Living Bean — Evolution is fundamental to living things, and coffee is no exception. Our roasts are dynamic, shifting and developing character as they rest.

Patient Resting — We give every batch the space it needs to mature naturally, unlocking deeper complexity rather than rushing it to shelf.

Clarity with Age — Just as life becomes clearer as we grow, our coffee reveals its clean, true flavor profile through time and patience.

Phase 01 · Drying Phase

Raw green moisture evaporates slowly as drum heat rises, setting up even thermal conductivity through the bean core without scorching.

Frequently Asked Questions

Roastery, Shipping & Care

Everything you need to know about our weekly roasts, shipping schedules, and daily brewing.

When do you roast and ship?
We roast small-batch once a week on Mondays in Bangalore. After roasting, our beans rest in sealed degassing tanks for optimal flavor maturation before dispatch. Orders ship tracked nationwide across India, typically arriving within 2–4 business days with fresh batch roast dates marked on every bag.
How should I store my coffee and when is it best consumed?
Keep your beans inside their original Crema bag with the one-way degassing valve sealed, or in an airtight container in a cool, dark cupboard. Avoid refrigerating or freezing daily beans. For peak flavor vibrancy and aroma, we recommend enjoying your roast within 4 to 6 weeks of roast date.
Which grind size should I choose for my brew method?
If you grind at home, select Whole Beans for peak freshness. For pre-ground: Espresso is calibrated for espresso machines; Moka Pot is slightly coarser for stovetop pots; Pour-Over (V60 / Chemex) offers medium-fine precision for paper filter clarity; French Press / Cold Brew is coarse for clean immersion with zero sludge.
Do you offer free delivery?
All our roast and format prices are exclusive of shipping. Tracked delivery is completely free across all of India on orders of ₹800 or more. For single bags or orders under ₹800, standard tracked delivery is a flat ₹80 added at checkout.
What if I am trying Crema for the first time or unsure about bean quantities?
Specialty coffee should be low-risk and fun to explore. If you do not want to commit to a full 250g bag right away, both our roasts are available in 100g Taster Pouches (~6 cups) and 5-Piece Single-Dose Shot Vials (20g airtight vials). You can experience our roast profiles with zero bean wastage.
What if the grind size or brew does not taste right at home?
We calibrate our roasts to be repeatable and forgiving on everyday equipment—no expensive scale or commercial barista setup required. If your extraction tastes too fast, slow, bitter, or sour, message us anytime with your equipment details and we will help you dial it in or make it right.
